Use a promo code, coupon or gift card

Learn how Studio Era promotions and promo codes work, which purchase path to use, and what to check before completing your purchase.

Studio Era promotions can work in a few different ways. Some are applied automatically, while others use a promo code, coupon, promotional link, or another redemption method.

This guide covers the usual Studio Era promotion flow. If the specific offer you received includes different eligibility, redemption, billing, or Apple instructions, follow those instructions instead.

Where your membership is billed matters

The right promotion path depends on whether you’re new to Studio Era and, if you already have a membership, where that membership is billed.

  • If you’re new to Studio Era: using an iPhone or iPad doesn’t mean you need to subscribe through Apple. If the promotion is available through the Studio Era website, you can use that purchase path.

  • If your existing membership was purchased through the Studio Era website or Android app: your membership is billed directly by Studio Era. Promotions available to existing members are generally handled through the Studio Era billing flow.

  • If your existing membership is billed through Apple: the promotion may work differently. Some offers may include an Apple-specific redemption option, while others may only be available through direct Studio Era billing.

Don’t cancel an existing membership or create a second membership just to try another promotional path unless the specific offer tells you to do so.

Do all Studio Era promotions need a promo code?

No. Studio Era promotions are commonly offered either automatically or with a promo code.

With an automatic promotion, the promotional price is already applied to the eligible purchase or membership-change flow. There’s nothing extra to enter.

With a promo code or coupon, you enter the code before confirming the eligible purchase or membership change.

Some offers may also use a special promotional link or another redemption method.

If you’re looking for regular membership pricing rather than a specific offer, see Studio Era plans, pricing and free trial.

Where should I redeem a Studio Era promotion?

Most Studio Era promotions are currently handled through the Studio Era website or direct Studio Era billing flow.

If you’re new to Studio Era, use the purchase path provided with the promotion. You can purchase through the Studio Era website even if you’re using an iPhone or iPad.

If you already have a membership billed directly by Studio Era, use your existing Studio Era account and the membership or checkout flow provided with the promotion.

If you already have an Apple-billed membership, check the Apple section below before making any changes. A promotion available through Studio Era’s direct billing flow doesn’t automatically apply to an existing Apple subscription.

How do I use a Studio Era promo code or coupon?

If your offer uses a promo code and is intended for Studio Era’s direct billing flow, the usual process is:

  1. Open the purchase or membership-change path for the eligible offer.

  2. Select the membership included in the promotion.

  3. Enter your promo code or coupon before confirming the purchase.

  4. Check that the promotional price or discount is reflected in the billing details.

  5. Review the amount due, billing date, and renewal information shown.

  6. Complete the purchase or membership change once everything looks correct.

Studio Era website checkout showing the promo-code option before and after opening the Promo Code field.

If the code doesn’t change the price as expected, don’t complete the purchase and assume the discount will be added later.

What if I already have an Apple-billed membership?

Keep your existing Apple membership in place unless the promotion specifically tells you to make a change.

Promotions for Apple-billed memberships can use a different redemption method from offers handled through Studio Era’s direct billing flow.

If the promotion includes an Apple-specific offer, link, or redemption path, use those instructions.

If there’s no Apple-specific option for the promotion, the promotional price available through the Studio Era website may not be available for your current Apple subscription.

Don’t cancel Apple, create another Studio Era account, or purchase a second membership just to try to access the promotional price.

Why don’t I see the promotional price in the app?

A different price in the app can be expected when the promotion is being offered through Studio Era’s direct billing flow rather than Apple.

Many Studio Era promotions are currently offered through the Studio Era website or direct Studio Era billing, so the promotional price may not appear in Apple’s subscription or in-app purchase flow.

If you’re new to Studio Era, use the purchase path provided with the promotion. You don’t have to subscribe through Apple just because you’re using an iPhone or iPad.

If you already have an Apple-billed membership, check whether the promotion has a separate Apple redemption option before changing anything.

If the promotion specifically says it should be available through Apple and you still don’t see it, contact Studio Era Support.

How do I know my promotion was applied?

Check the final billing details before you confirm the purchase or membership change.

Depending on the offer, review:

  • The promotional price or discount

  • The amount due now

  • Your first billing date, if applicable

  • Any free-trial information included with the offer

  • The membership you’re purchasing or switching to

  • The renewal details shown

Check the price before you confirm

If the promotional price or discount doesn’t appear as expected, don’t complete the purchase assuming it will be corrected afterward.

Check the promotion requirements and purchase path first. If everything looks right but the price still doesn’t match the offer, contact Studio Era Support before completing the purchase.

Why isn’t my promo code or promotion working?

Start with the basics:

  • Make sure the code was entered exactly as provided.

  • Check that the promotion is still active.

  • Make sure the membership or plan you selected is included in the offer.

  • Check whether the offer is for new members, existing members, or both.

  • Make sure you’re using the correct purchase or billing path.

  • Use the promotional link included with the offer if one was provided.

  • Review any usage or eligibility conditions included with the promotion.

  • Confirm that the promotional price appears before completing the purchase.

If you already have an Apple-billed membership, also check whether the promotion includes an Apple-specific redemption option.

If those checks look right and the promotion still won’t apply, contact Studio Era Support so we can review the offer and your membership setup.

Can I apply a promo code after I’ve already paid?

Promo codes and promotional offers should be applied before the relevant purchase or membership change is confirmed.

If you already completed a purchase and expected a promotion to apply, don’t create another account, start a second membership, or make another purchase to try again.

Contact Studio Era Support so we can review what happened. Any available next step will depend on the specific promotion and purchase.

Can I buy a Studio Era gift card or gift subscription?

No. Studio Era doesn’t currently offer gift cards or gift subscriptions.
