I paid, but the app asks me to subscribe

Check your Studio Era account and purchase when you’ve already paid but the app shows no active plan or asks you to subscribe again.

If you have a confirmed Studio Era purchase but the app says you don’t have an active membership, don’t purchase another membership just to restore access.

Start by checking where you purchased your membership, because the account and recovery steps are different:

  • If you purchased through the Studio Era website: the email used for the purchase is also your Studio Era login email. You need to be signed in with that same email for the membership to appear.

  • If you purchased through the Android app: your membership is billed through Studio Era using Stripe. If the app still shows no active plan after payment, check the Studio Era account you’re signed in to and contact Support if access is still missing.

  • If you purchased through Apple: the email on your Apple Account or Apple receipt may be different from your Studio Era login email.

First, check your Studio Era account

  1. Open Studio Era.

  2. Tap Home in the bottom navigation.

  3. Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.

  4. Check the email shown below your name.

  5. Check whether the screen shows an active membership or No active plan.

Studio Era profile settings showing the account email and no active membership.

What you check next depends on where you purchased:

  1. Studio Era website: compare the email shown in the app with the email used for the purchase. They need to match.

  2. Android app: if your payment completed but Studio Era still shows No active plan, confirm which Studio Era account you’re signed in to. If access is still missing, contact Studio Era Support. Restore Purchases is not used for Android purchases.

  3. Apple: don’t compare the Studio Era login email with the Apple receipt or Apple Account email as if they need to match. Those emails can be different.

If you purchased through Apple

Confirm the Apple subscription is active

On your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap your name.

  3. Tap Subscriptions.

  4. Open Studio Era.

  5. Check the current subscription status.

If Apple does not show an active Studio Era subscription, the issue may be with the purchase or subscription status rather than Studio Era access.

If Apple shows the membership as active but Studio Era still shows No active plan or asks you to subscribe, try restoring the purchase.

Restore an Apple purchase

  1. In Studio Era, open Explore Plans.

    • You can open it from the Explore Plans prompt on Home, or

    • from your profile/settings screen when No active plan is shown.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the membership screen.

  3. Tap Restore Purchases.

  4. Wait for Studio Era to check for a membership available to restore.

  5. Check whether your paid access returns.

What if Studio Era says no subscription was found?

If Studio Era can’t find an Apple membership to restore, you may see:

No active subscription found

We couldn't find a membership to restore on this account. Pick a plan to get started.

If Apple still shows your Studio Era subscription as active, do not purchase another membership.

Instead, contact Studio Era Support and include:

  • the Studio Era account email shown in the app,

  • confirmation that Apple shows the Studio Era subscription as active,

  • a screenshot of the Apple subscription status if available,

  • the result you received after tapping Restore Purchases, and

  • your Apple invoice or order confirmation if available, including the Order ID.

The email on the Apple receipt may be different from your Studio Era login email, so include both if they are different.

If you’re not sure which Studio Era login email you originally used, contact Support rather than creating another account. If available, include your Apple receipt or order confirmation and any email addresses you may have used.

If you purchased through the Studio Era website

For a membership purchased through the Studio Era website, the email used for the purchase is also the email you should use to log in to Studio Era.

  1. Find your Studio Era purchase confirmation or receipt.

  2. Check the email used for the purchase.

  3. Confirm that the payment completed successfully.

  4. In Studio Era, go to Home → profile picture or initial.

  5. Check the account email shown below your name.

  6. Compare the two email addresses.

The purchase email and the Studio Era account email need to match.

If you purchased using one email but are logged in to Studio Era with another, the membership will not appear on the account you’re currently using.

If the emails match

Fully close and reopen Studio Era, then check whether your membership and paid content are available.

If the app still shows No active plan or asks you to subscribe, contact Studio Era Support and include the account email shown in the app and your purchase confirmation.

If the emails are different

Sign out of Studio Era and log back in using the email address used for the website purchase.

If you don’t remember the password for that account, see Log in, reset your password or recover account access.

If you have created more than one Studio Era account or you’re unsure which account should hold the membership, see I used a different email for my Studio Era purchase or account.

If you don’t know which email you used

If you don’t know which email was used for the purchase or need help locating the Studio Era account connected to your membership, contact Studio Era Support.

If available, include:

  • last 4 digits of the card used for the purchase

  • any email addresses you may have used for Studio Era.

Don’t create another account or purchase another membership while you’re trying to locate the existing one.

If the payment failed or did not complete, see Update your payment method or fix a failed payment instead.

Restore Purchases is for App Store purchases. If you purchased through the Studio Era website or Android app, you do not need to use that option.

What if the purchase email and app email are different?

The answer depends on where you purchased your membership.

Studio Era website purchase

For a website purchase, the email used for the purchase is the Studio Era login email connected to that membership.

If the email shown in the app is different, sign out and log back in using the purchase email.

The membership will not appear on a different Studio Era account.

If you don’t know which email you used for the purchase or need help locating the correct account, contact Studio Era Support. If available, include the last 4 digits of the card used for the purchase and any email addresses you may have used for Studio Era.

Apple purchase

For an Apple purchase, the Apple Account or receipt email may be different from your Studio Era login email.

A difference between those emails does not automatically mean you’re signed in to the wrong Studio Era account.

Instead:

  1. confirm that Apple shows the Studio Era subscription as active,

  2. try Restore Purchases in Studio Era, and

  3. contact Support if the active purchase still isn’t restored.

If you’re not sure which Studio Era login email you originally used, contact Studio Era Support rather than creating another account. If available, include your Apple receipt or order confirmation and any email addresses you may have used.

If you know the possible accounts but aren’t sure how they relate, see I used a different email for my Studio Era purchase or account.
