Browse on-demand workouts and Exercise Guides

Find individual Studio Era workouts and Exercise Guides in Explore, choose a session outside your regular program, and return to content you’ve saved.

Studio Era gives you more flexibility than just following a workout program or challenge. Under Explore → Workouts, you can browse individual workouts whenever you want to choose a session for yourself, or open Exercise Guides when you want to focus on a specific movement.

On-demand workouts and Exercise Guides are different.

An on-demand workout is a complete individual workout session you can choose on its own.

An Exercise Guide focuses on one movement instead of taking you through a full workout or structured schedule.

Find and start an on-demand workout

On-demand workouts are useful when you want to choose a workout for yourself instead of starting a full program or challenge. You might use one when you want an extra session, want something different that day, or simply prefer to pick from the workout library.

To choose an individual workout:

  1. Tap Explore in the bottom navigation.

  2. Select Workouts.

  3. Browse All App Workouts and the available workout categories.

  4. Tap a workout card to open its details.

  5. Review the workout information shown so you can decide whether it’s the session you want.

  6. Tap Start when you’re ready to begin.

If you find a workout you want to do later, you can add an individual workout to a future day using the Workout Planner. See Use the Workout Planner to plan and manage workouts for the full scheduling flow.

If you want to understand the equipment you may see across Studio Era workouts, see What equipment do I need for Studio Era workouts?

And if you’re looking for a workout you already finished rather than one you want to start, see Finish a workout and review your completed session.

Explore individual movements with Exercise Guides

Exercise Guides let you focus on one movement at a time instead of opening a complete workout.

They’re a useful place to go when you want to look at an exercise on its own, revisit a movement you’ve seen before, or spend a little more time getting familiar with it outside of a full session.

You don’t need to start a workout to browse them.

To find Exercise Guides:

  1. Tap Explore in the bottom navigation.

  2. Choose Workouts.

  3. Scroll down to Exercise Guides.

  4. Tap an exercise card to open its guide.

You can come back to the Exercise Guides anytime you want to focus on a particular movement rather than follow an entire workout.

Come back to content you’ve saved

If you find a workout, Exercise Guide, or recipe you want to return to, you can save it to Favorites.

Favorites keeps your saved content together so you can come back to it without searching through Explore again. Exercise Guides are included with your saved workout content.

To open Favorites:

  1. Tap Home in the bottom navigation.

  2. Scroll down to More.

  3. Tap Favorites.

Want more structure instead?

On-demand workouts are there when you want to choose one session at a time. If you’d rather have your training laid out for you across multiple weeks, a workout program gives you a structured schedule to follow over time.

See Start and follow a workout program to choose a program and add it to your schedule.
