Studio Era can use supported health data from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. The connection and permission screens differ slightly depending on your device.
How do I connect Apple Health on iPhone?
To connect Apple Health to Studio Era:
Tap Home in the bottom navigation.
Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.
Scroll through your settings and tap Connected Apps.
Turn on Apple Health.
When your iPhone asks what Studio Era can access, allow access to Steps.
Follow the permission prompts shown by iOS to finish allowing access.
Return to Connected Apps and check that Apple Health shows as Connected.
Good to know
Your iPhone may show an additional system permission screen after you connect. Follow the options shown there to keep Studio Era’s access enabled.
How do I connect Health Connect on Android?
To connect Health Connect to Studio Era:
Tap Home in the bottom navigation.
Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.
Scroll through your settings and tap Connected Apps.
Turn on Health Connect.
When the Health Connect permission screen opens, choose which fitness and wellness data Studio Era can read.
Turn on Allow all, or allow the individual data types you want to share, including Activity and Steps.
Tap Allow.
Return to Connected Apps and check that Health Connect shows as Connected.
Good to know
Your wearable may not connect directly to Studio Era. On Android, your data may first sync through another app before it reaches Studio Era:
Wearable → source health app → Health Connect → Studio Era
If your health or fitness app supports Health Connect, you may need to connect that app to Health Connect first.
See Google’s Get started with Health Connect guide for instructions on connecting and managing apps in Health Connect.
How do I sync workout metrics from my tracker?
At the end of a Studio Era workout, the app may ask you to Finish the workout on your tracker before it pulls in available workout metrics.
If you see this prompt:
Finish the workout on your tracker or wearable.
Return to Studio Era.
Tap Continue.
On your workout Summary, find Sync Energy & Heart Rate.
Follow the prompt shown there to sync the available workout metrics.
Check your Summary to confirm the synced information appears.
The metrics available depend on your device, connection, and permissions.
What if my steps or workout metrics are missing?
First, check that your connection is still active:
Tap Home in the bottom navigation.
Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.
Scroll through your settings and tap Connected Apps.
Check that Apple Health or Health Connect still shows as Connected.
If you use iPhone
Check that the affected data appears in Apple Health.
Check that Studio Era still has permission to access that data.
Return to Studio Era and check the metric again.
If you use Android
Check that the affected data appears in the app or wearable that originally recorded it.
Check that the source app is sharing that data with Health Connect.
Check that Studio Era still has permission to read the affected data in Health Connect.
Return to Studio Era and check the metric again.
If the data is missing from the source health app too, the source app or wearable may need attention first.
If the source has the correct data but Studio Era still doesn’t show it, contact Studio Era Support and include:
your device and operating system
the connected service
the affected date and metric
a screenshot showing what you see
Only include the health information needed to troubleshoot the issue.
