Use the Meal Planner to see what you plan to eat across the week and make changes to individual days.
Planning and logging are different.
The Meal Planner shows what you plan to eat. The Food Diary records what you actually ate.
Adding something to your Meal Planner doesn’t automatically log it in your Food Diary.
Open your Meal Planner
To open your weekly meal schedule:
Tap Home in the bottom navigation.
Scroll down to More.
Tap Meal Planner.
Make sure Nutrition is selected.
Use the arrows beside This Week to move between weeks.
Tap a day to open its planned meals.
From there, you can review and adjust what’s planned for that date.
If you want to choose, activate, or change a full Studio Era meal plan instead, see Use, customize or change a meal plan.
Add food or a recipe to a planned day
You can add individual foods and recipes you’ve created to a day in your Meal Planner.
Open Home → More → Meal Planner.
Make sure Nutrition is selected.
Open the day you want to plan.
Find the meal you want to add something to, such as Breakfast or Lunch.
Tap Add Food.
Choose an item from the options shown, including Recents, My food, or My Recipes, or use Search foods.
Select the food or recipe you want.
Tap Add to [meal] at the bottom.
Return to the day and check that the item now appears under the meal you selected.
What about custom foods and recipes?
If you’ve already saved your own food or recipe, you can find it under My food or My Recipes when adding something to your plan.
If you need to create a custom food or recipe first, see Use the Food Diary to log food, recipes, barcodes and custom nutrition. Once it’s saved, return to the Meal Planner to add it to a planned day.
Edit or remove something you planned
If you want to change an item that’s already on a planned day:
Open the day in your Meal Planner.
Tap the planned item you want to change.
In Edit planned item, adjust the amount if needed.
Tap Update to save the change.
To remove the item instead, tap Remove from plan.
After updating or removing it, check the selected day to make sure the plan reflects the change you wanted.
Copy planned meals to another day
If you’ve already planned meals for one day and want to use them again, you can copy that day’s meals to another date.
Open the Meal Planner.
Find a day that already has planned meals you want to copy.
Tap that day.
Select Copy.
Under Copy to another day, choose the date you want to copy the meals to.
Tap Copy.
Check the destination date to make sure the meals were added.
Restore a day after making changes
If you’ve changed the meals planned for a day and want to return to the original meal plan, you can restore that day.
Open the Meal Planner.
Find the day you changed and tap it.
Select Restore.
When Restore this day? appears, review the message and tap Restore to confirm.
Check the day afterward to make sure the original planned meals have returned.
Restoring a day discards the changes you made and returns it to the meal plan’s default meals. This can’t be undone.
Where do I find food I actually logged?
To review food you logged on another day:
Go to Home.
Tap the calendar icon in the top-right corner.
Choose Day or Week near the bottom of the calendar, whichever view you prefer.
Find the date you want to review.
In Day view, select the date from the row at the top.
In Week view, scroll to the date in the weekly list.
Open Nutrition for that date.
Make sure Food Diary is selected at the bottom to see the foods you recorded.
The Food Diary is your record of what you actually ate. The Meal Planner is where you arrange what you plan to eat, so the two can show different information for the same date.
